Are you new here?

Visiting any church for the very first time can be an awkward experience; what door do I go into? What time does it start? What is there for my kids? These and many more questions always come up. When you visit Calvary Road Baptist Church,  you will find friendly, down-to-earth Christians who have a love for the Lord and their church family. There will always be someone to assist you with any questions or concerns. Our hope is that you will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching from the Word of God; simply a place where you can feel welcome. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

What is the Sunday morning schedule?

9:45 AM

This is our Sunday school hour. We offer classes for all ages. If you are unsure which class to go to; simply ask one of our greeters at the door and they will be happy to assist you. Our classes start with one or two songs out of the hymn book and then goes directly into the Bible lesson. This lasts until about 10:30.

11:00 AM

The worship service starts with soul-stirring congregational singing, general and special announcements & special music. This is followed by our inspirational preaching service.

What Do I wear?

Clothes. You pick.     Just remember it is God’s House…

Is there a Youth Ministry?

Yes. Our youth leaders are community minded servants looking forward to helping train children in the ways of God. In addition to church services and classes for children and teens; there are frequent special activities for the teen youth group. Please feel free to ask them any question or inquire about special events.

Should I bring my bible?

Yes. We encourage everyone to bring their Bibles and follow along with the Pastor’s message. If you do not have a Bible, we will provide one on request.

Do you have more than one service?

Yes. We have morning and evening services on Sundays. Our morning service starts with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., then at 11:00 a.m. we have our morning worship service; followed by our evening service at 6:00 p.m. and our Wednesday night service starts at 7:00 p.m.
